5 years of Engineering!!!

Yes, I got to taste the culture of two colleges which were far apart from each other and the learnings from both have added to the most awesome experiences that one can expect of. Awesome set of people and therefore had been a difficult goodbye from both the worlds.

I have always told my GCTI stories to the closest ones in NIFTEM. Memories, experiences with F.R.I.E.N.D.S. made me something that I could have never imagined of myself 5 years back. It has been a long journey but realizing it now seems to be just nick of time.

#Udaan

ALL THE BEST GUYS!!!

STAY IN TOUCH!!!

KEEP ROCKING & TOUCH THE SKY!!!

MAKE THIS BATCH 2013-17 PROUD!!!

Silver Jubilee Marriage Anniversary: Simple Celebrations

Life has been so happening in the last one month. New year party, birthday, final semester begins and I got placed. This Wednesday, my parents completed 25 years of their marriage.

This was a very touching day since we four members in our small family sincerely sat down and realised that how this journey was beautiful, adventurous, each day full of ups and downs, mood swings, bickerings, persuasions, surprises and whole a lot of filmy family drama that always ended up as "Kahaani Har Ghar ki, Kahaani Ghar Ghar ki".

Dad ke sarcastic Taane, Mummy ke haath ki dhunaai  used to be our daily dose of proteins, carbohydrates, fats and all the other essential stuff. From our first cry to our first step, from the first fall to the every support we needed, they had been the only one on our sides.
Principles laid by them from the foundation had played their crucial role in attaining this mark successfully.

Sacrifices at each stage, cutting their dreams to fulfil ours is how it went. A perfect example of it was how they cut down the celebration part on this grand eve just because of my brothers' pre-boards examination.

I took my classes in college that whole day in college and as soon as they got over I rushed to my home. Since they celebration we planned was scaled down. I couldn't have much idea to celebrate and make the evening the happiest for them. This is all I could get them.

We went out for a dinner and had a good time. There are a whole lot of things I can't give words but that evening was one of the most pleasant ones we had together.

Happy 25th Anniversary mom & dad.

The Game, Mrs. Hudson, is on!

Yes, this season is getting interesting day by day. It would be unfair on my part if I don't accept that yes this season has started at a very lower pace. Not up to the expectations in comparison to the previous season.
But HOPE is not just a four letter word.
This is the Placement Season in NIFTEM and everyone in the final year batch have it in their minds everyday, "Ye CRD waale kya kar rahe hain?", "Company bulaao na yaar!!!", "Package, Location, JD, Bonds? ".

Amid that, I faced my second interview for the placements day before yesterday. It is a beer manufacturing company. My parents didn't want me to enter into alcoholic sector until the night before the interview day. I was also sure not to go ahead, quite convinced about it and never argued. I watched India losing to England that evening after a long time, came back to my room and started repairing my laptop. And that is when my father asked to sit for the interview and go on with it. I was thoughtless for sometime. Then I called up my seniors and asked them about this industry, Sneha ma'am helped me a lot in that and also gave me the books to study even after the hostels were closed. I studied after a long non-studying streak that night, quite calm, repairing laptop on the other hand and WhatsApp. No sleep that night and I don't know why.
In the morning I was quite sure that I would get it there was no tension kind of thing. It was 2 o'clock and my turn came. I hand him the single greatest work of fiction known to man: my resume. During the interview, I was very very nervous, though I answered everything well but I was literally stammering and that's when Interviewer offered me the water and asked me to relax.
I was sure that I won't get it now, I sat in the office. removed my coat and the tie and started working to divert my thoughts. Thought of playing Asphalt during the lecture but it didn't work. Three cups of tea in a matter of one hour didn't work because it was a thought of rejection in the interview again. Results weren't out though. The thoughts escalated to a stage where was trying to figure out, the reasons for rejection in ITC and now.
I could have gone back to the room, but as usual, I like to sit back in the office and face it.
At 5, Shortlist was announced, I didn't even go outside to give an ear to that since I was in my own world, damn sure of not getting selected.
But I guess somewhere interviewers know that nervousness happens even if one is answering correctly. Yeah, I got selected, and I was numb. On the other hand pursuing my teammates to talk it out with the Corporates that they shouldn't leave 3 vacancies vacant and shortlist a few more of my friends.
Although it didn't work out that way.
I called my parents, they were happy and are happy still seeing my happiness. All and all it took me sometime to get my body loose and begin thinking again. Ofcourse it is a feeling worth waiting for. So many things used to in my mind that I will do this and that when I get selected for a job. And believe me, I was numb. So many thoughts passing in every fraction of a second but you can't keep a record of them.

My nights, before and after this, were sleepless, but with the later one was with the new set of thoughts.
So much to express yet this naive writer is unable to pen it down.

P.S: I edited it completely just because of this one shot on a day before I was supposed to post this blog.

The Happy New Year Blog!
Hi guys,
I'm back after a long time (almost 15 months) but this time with a fortnight blog writing challenge. I am trying overcome my fear of writing. I don't have a habit of writing and I don't have any interest in penning down own stuff because of my fear. So this time my friend challenged me to try it out.

So last 14 days were as usual full of mood swings for me and like always I used to find some work in order to distract myself. I had my birthday last weekend. It was a light celebration full of happiness, just like I wish it to be.
Few friends in the hostel, laughing out loud and outing with them, what else one needs.
Gift from dad was too much, though I'm about to get some more gifts from few friends .
😜😎

It's so cold in North India during this time 😅 and how can I not mention demonetization (I think the word is enough to say everything 😶). Soldiers' viral videos and whole politics on it. Groups in support of PM and some wanting to take a dig at him. States fighting for river water. Dad and son fighting over a Chief Minister's position and I'm just writing down this blog and like a useless citizen sitting and commenting over the country's condition and doing nothing else.

Fortnight blog writing challenge, I want to reach a stage that when next time I write, I write without using a backspace button. I wish to generate an ability to speak out my mind because efficient execution of a thought comes once it is organized and I have come to a conclusion that writing is one of the best mediums to beautifully present one's thoughts. Just thinking about something won't be fruitful unless there is something one performs out of it and to perform it well, it needs to be organized and writing is the best therapy to achieve that.

I think I went too deep. :P

Yeah! I'm philosophical. Let's take one more philosophy then because my friend won't be happy with a short blog. :P

"Have you ever felt sad about a thing you wished to have and you didn't, but someone undeserving gets that. There is always a point on which you have an edge over others, you just need to find that very reason to make yourself happy again."
I know some may say why to compare with others but in reality, you can run you can hide but you cannot stop it but yeah there is always an option to think a little extra and find out that  quality which you have and that person doesn't, that is what makes it even. And guess what, it can be reason behind your happiness.
Yeah yeah! this philosophy is just based on a few instances and I don't believe that it is applicable in all cases and yeah I appreciate if you share your opinion on this too. This would not only lead to some good discussions but also help in making new friends and make me write more.

नज़रिये की बात है... नज़रिये की बात है...!!! (It's all about your perception.)

Alright, this is it for now!

PS: Sorry for the grammatical errors! Grammar Nazis are wholeheartedly invited to help me improve my English.
